What's going on Shinobi Legends at this time?

At this time, Wind Country and Water Country are waging a PvP war. The story behind it is that Sand Ninja attempted to assassinate the Mizukage. With this, the Mizukage deployed their forces, attacking Wind Country.

The Sand Nin are currently losing the war by a significant number and have now called upon the help of the Leaf Ninja of Fire Country. Despite the huge help the Leaf have provided (having more kills than the Sand themselves), the Mist have had a massive ongoing offensive. They have gotten over 600 kills in the last few days.

As this is happening, the Sound Ninja of Rice Field Country are offering a mercenary offer to the Mist.
